| The Dakota Building at 72nd Street is one of the most luxurious apartments buildings in Manhattan. It had many famous tenants in its history. Probably the most famous was John Lennon that lived here in the 70s until he was shot on December 8th 1980 in front of the main entrance to this building (on the left of this picture). | |||
