Redwoods National Park (CA)
	Hollow Redwood trees look sometimes like an entrance to another world. The holes are caused by rot and fires and they do not seriously damage the tree. A Redwood tree only needs about 1/3 of the area of the trunk to support the treetop with water and nutrition.
